Description
Jackfruit seeds come from the jackfruit plant, which is the world’s biggest tree plant. The trees are native to South Asia and thrive in tropical habitats. Usually, a jackfruit seed will be between one and two inches long. They’re high in starch, protein, and fiber. It’s not safe to eat raw jackfruit seeds, but cooked seeds can be very nutritious. In most cases, seeds are boiled or roasted.
